If you have concerns about a stray or need to re-home an owned cat, please read this first.

Rescuing Cats and Kittens is a big part of what we do so please consider adopting from us.

We don't have a rehoming centre, we work through a network of volunteer fosterers who care for the cats/kittens at their own homes.

“When you adopt a cat from us you are not only giving that cat a second chance in life, you are also enabling us to help even more cats in the future.
As we would never put a healthy cat to sleep, we rely on finding new homes for all the cats in our care so we can make space for the many others waiting to come in.”

All of our cats have been treated to above our minimum veterinary standards, meaning that they have been examined by a veterinary surgeon, been vaccinated against flu, enteritis and leukaemia, micro chipped,  treated against fleas, roundworm and tapeworm and any sick cats have been blood tested for FIV and FeLV. If the cat has not been neutered before or during its time in our care, provision will be made to ensure owners are able to do this after adoption; our recommended start age for neutering within Cats Protection is four months.
All adopted cats come with 4 wks free insurance.
Adoption Fee is £50 for an Adult cat and £60 for a kitten, it costs us on Average £160 for each cat/kitten so any donation above the adoption fee is gratefully received. Home visit required.

Please consider buying our rescue cats/kittens a gift from our wishlist Helping the most vulnerable of cats means we have a very long wish list but buying even the smallest gift on it means a lot. Our dedicated band of volunteers work tirelessly helping strays, feral, unloved an unwanted cats, lost cats, injured cats, the abandoned and forgotten cats! Help us to Help them!.

People often say to our volunteers "would love to do your job" well it isn't a job we are all volunteers and do this for free because we care passionately about cat welfare. We get a small annual grant from Cats Protection headquarters but have to raise all other funds to pay for vet bills, food, litter and general cat care, we also raise funds towards our neutering work, adoption fees only cover around a quarter of the cost of each cat or kittens care. Every Donation no matter how small makes a difference! Cat Food always needed
